At SkincareFactoryOEM, sustainability is integrated into every stage of our OEM/ODM manufacturing process — from raw material sourcing to final shipment.
1. Responsible Sourcing
- Ingredient traceability: We require full INCI declaration, country of origin, and certifications from every ingredient supplier.
- Preference for certified suppliers: RSPO (palm oil), Ecocert/Cosmos (natural), Fair Trade (botanical extracts), MSC (marine actives).
- Reef-safe formulations: Free of Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, and Octocrylene — meeting Hawaii, Palau, and Mexico reef-protection regulations.
2. Packaging
- PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic: default option for tubes, bottles, and jars — 30% to 100% PCR available.
- Refillable airless systems: reduces packaging waste by 60–70% over the product lifetime.
- Glass & aluminum: preferred for premium lines; infinitely recyclable.
- FSC-certified paperboard: for outer cartons and inserts.
- Soy-based inks & water-based coatings: replacing petroleum-based inks and lamination.
3. Manufacturing
- Renewable energy: 35% of factory electricity sourced from on-site solar (target: 60% by 2027).
- Water recycling: closed-loop system recycles 70% of process water.
- Waste segregation: hazardous, recyclable, and general waste streams are strictly separated; 92% of manufacturing waste is recycled or recovered.
- Carbon accounting: Scope 1 & 2 emissions tracked annually; verified by third party.
4. People & Community
- Living wage benchmarks for all factory employees.
- Zero tolerance for child labor, forced labor, and discrimination.
- Annual sustainability training for all staff.
- Community programs: school supply donations, environmental education in partner villages.
